LED Light Strips (self-adhesive backed
Available in 50cm lengths, also full reels of 5.0m. Any other length between 5cm & 5m can be supplied to order -
just ask for more details.
The strips are 8mm wide & approx 2.0mm in height. Each strip is has red & black wires attached for connection
to a 12V dc power source (battery, mains power supply etc) Current consumption is 200mA per 0.5m length
(2.0A per 5m length)
These strips can be cut to shorter lengths if required. Along the length there are marks showing where to cut,
the new sections thus created can be wired up by simply scratching off the protective varnish from the pads
which are marked + & - (see below) & soldering on more wires. The cutting points are at 50mm (2”) intervals
along the length of the strip with each block comprising 3 LEDs, thus there are 30 equally spaced LEDs along
each 0.5m length (60 per m, or 300 per 5.0m length).
The strips have a self-adhesive coating on the rear, just peel off the protective paper & they will stick to most
smooth surfaces.
